After their time at the Art Institute, Leon and Nancy went East, garnering fame in the New York art world and eventually Internationally.

Ruth and John came West where John headed up the Art History Department at ASU & enjoyed a healthy relationship with patrons such as Walter Bimson (Valley National Bank), Kax Herberger and Lewis Ruskin. The couple eventually settled on a ranch of their friend & patron Louise Kerr in Sedona, Arizona. Here they built their studio and Waddell Master Apprenticeship Program.
