Sheep Eater Petroglyphs

Frank McCarthy was a long time resident of Sedona. He was a prominent American painter known for advertisements, magazine artwork, paperback covers, film posters, and paintings of the American West. He was a member of the Cowboy Artists of America.

He had a strong interest in the history of the West, and did intensive research for the subjects of his paintings.
